  • Cold liquid wax is an alternative to hot wax for the Batik technique.
  • It is ready to use, it does not need to be heated in order to start using it.
  • Like a traditional wax, H Dupont liquid cold wax is applied with a brush, sponge, pad, and pipette to create very fine and delicate details.
  • Once your drawing is created, let it harden. You can then apply the colour or start the dyeing bath(s). The areas where there is wax remain intact.
  • When your work is done, you can remove the wax. When the colour is dry, remove the wax from the iron without steam with a blotting paper (or paper towel) that will absorb the wax. You can also spend your achievement in the steamer. The wax will eliminate itself.
  • Clean your tools in hot water.
