Silk steaming

Creative works gallery ("Radošo darbu galerija") offers silk steaming for fixing silk paints. This is used for paints like H Dupont classique that cannot be fixed just by ironing. Thermal fixing is important so that the paints don't get washed out.
The painted silk is rolled into craft paper before being placed in the steaming ppot. There the silk will be left for 3 hours in a dense steam environment.
The maximum length for silk fabric that can be placed in our steaming pot is 15m.
If the silk is also covered in wax then the max length is 10m.
